Prof. Dr. Leandro Romero Gasques
 
          Bachelor in Physics from the University of São Paulo (1999), PhD in Physics from the University of São Paulo (2003), and Associate Professorship from the Nuclear Physics Department of the University of São Paulo (2017). He has a postdoctoral degree from the University of Notre Dame (2003-2005), and the Australian National University (2006-2008). Between 2008 and 2009, he worked as assistant researcher at the Nuclear Physics Center of the University of Lisbon. Currently he is Associate Professor in the Department of Nuclear Physics of the University of São Paulo. He carries out research in the area of Nuclear Physics, with emphasis on Nuclear Reactions, working mainly on the following topics: elastic and inelastic scattering, heavy ion fusion, weakly bond nuclei and exotic nuclei, nuclear astrophysics.
 
 

 


Prof. Dr. Luiz Carlos Chamon
 
          Bachelor in Operational Engineering from the Centro Universitário of FEI (1977), bachelor in Physics from the University of São Paulo (1984), PhD in Physics from the University of São Paulo (1990), and Associate Professorship from the Experimental Physics Department of the University of São Paulo (1999). He is currently Full Professor in the Department of Nuclear Physics of the University of São Paulo. He carries out research in the area of Nuclear Physics, with emphasis on Nuclear Reactions, mainly in the following subjects: nuclear reactions between heavy-ions, nuclear potential and nuclear strength, nuclear densities and nuclear structure.
