DMneutrino 18 - ICTP-SAIFR School

ICTP-SAIFR School and Workshop on Dark Matter and Neutrino Detection
July 23 – August 3, 2018 @ São Paulo, Brazil

http://www.ictp-saifr.org/DMneutrino18 - Application deadline: May 11, 2018

There is no registration fee and limited funds are available for travel and local expenses.

The school is aimed at a general public with interest in astrophysics, astroparticle physics, high-energy physics, and related fields, with both a theoretical or an experimental background. The first week will consists of theoretical introductory courses and lectures, with time for discussions and practical activities.
The second is devoted to experimental project and methods, with hands-on experimental activities.

This activity will be followed by a workshop on the Agua Negra Deep Experiment Site (ANDES), a proposed facility in South America that could host both Dark Matter and neutrino experiments. For more information on this event, see

Below is the program and the poster of the school. Please access our website for up-to-date information and registration.

Looking forward to seeing you in São Paulo.

Best regards,

Carla Bonifazi (IF-UFRJ), Edivaldo Moura Santos (USP), Fabio Iocco (ICTP-SAIFR/IFT-UNESP), Ricardo Gomes (UFG), and Martin Makler (CBPF)
