On March 27, Dr. Karin Fornazier from Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais (INPE) e the graduated student Jordany de Melo from Instituto de Física da USP, participate in the Mamutes na Ciência of the Escola de Engenharia de Lorena with the lecture Biespectrum and FRBs. Mamutes na Ciência is an outreach initiative of the Escola de Engenharia de Lorena - USP (EEL-USP), and it is open to general public offering montly lectures on science research topics in an accessible and coloquial way. The project have been organized by Bertha Cuadros-Melgar, Rebeca Bacani, Gabi Weber e Eduardo Triboni. All are Professors at EEL-USP.
Are you curious about the name of the projet at EEL? Professor Rebeca told us that the name Mamutes na Ciência came from the mascot of the institution, the Mammoth.
