The double or multiple degree is the result of an international cooperation agreement that allows students from USP and foreign institutions to exchange experiences in related areas and obtain diplomas from the universities involved. All foreign institutions with recognized expertise in various areas of knowledge can formalize agreements with the University of São Paulo, provided that they are analyzed and approved by the Office of the Vice-Rector for Graduate Studies (PRPG) and other competent bodies.
The requests are forwarded by the unit to the PRPG through the Agreements Portal and the entire process takes, on average, 3 months to be completed, so it is necessary for the student to plan carefully before making the request.

Should any questions arise regarding the draft, the term of commitment, or any other procedures, we ask students and advisors to contact the Portal de Convênios support team directly by email at portalconvenios@usp.br / prpg-convenios@usp.br, or by phone at +55 11 3091 3062. It is important that the documentation be delivered to the Secretariat according to the format recommended by the PRPG so that it can be forwarded to the Graduate Studies Committee and, subsequently, to the Institute's Congregation as quickly as possible.
Other questions can be clarified through the Dual/Multiple Degree (PRPG) link.
