Special students are those who wish to enroll in only one or two courses without being formally enrolled in the graduate studies program.
Enrollment periods for special students can be checked on the Entry Calendar. The documents required are listed below and they should be sent to atendepgif@usp.br. Enrollments for special students outside the standard calendar are only accepted for short courses offered mid-semester.
a. Copy of undergraduate studies transcript;
b. Copy of undergradute diploma;
c. Copy of ID (for foreigners, copy of passport and RNE);
d. Copy of CPF;
e. A formal letter requesting and justifying the enrollment in the course (signed by the student and the advisor);
f. Initial registration form properly filled;
g. Scientific initiation project signed by the student and the advisor - only applicable to IFUSP's undergraduate students.
Please note that your approval depends on the Graduate Studies Committee's evaluation on your transcripts. The number of seats available for the course will also be considered.
We would also like to inform that due to the great number of enrollments each semester, the Graduate Studies Office usually informs only the students whose enrollments were denied. Therefore, if your documents were sent and you didn't receive any denial, you are properly enrolled.
