REQUIREMENTS:
- The candidate must hold a PhD in fields related to Computing, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Mechanical and mechatronics Engineering.
- The candidate must have obtained their PhD less than seven years ago.
- Academic (Master’s and/or PhD) or professional experience in areas related to knowledge representation, such as Ontologies or Metadata.
- Knowledge and experience in Python programming.
- Project management experience is desirable
DESCRIPTION OF ACTIVITIES
- Development of a conceptual description of offshore production chains through knowledge representation techniques, focusing on environmental parameters.
- Development of mathematical tools for quantitative assessment of GHG emissions along the production chains.
- Literature review on GHG emissions modeling;
- Conducting and supporting the implementation of case studies to test and evaluate the developed systems.
- Support in supervising the Technical Training scholarship holders responsible for system development.
General Conditions: Exclusive dedication to the research project. Hybrid work model (the fellow must be available for in-person activities twice a week)
Duration: 24 months, with the possibility of extension
