SECOND SEMESTER - 2026
Admission exams accepted by IFUSP:
- EUF – Unified Exam for Admission to Graduate Studies in Physics
Registration, exam dates, and official results are available on the EUF platform . - GRE – Graduate Record Examination (Physics Subject Test)
Registration information, exam dates, and score validity are available on the ETS platform .
Details on score usage, validity, and minimum requirements are defined in the Admission Notice.
Registrations for admission to the graduate studies program at IFUSP:
- With scholarship application (which usually occurs before the EUF results are released): from 11/05/2026 to 31/05/2026.
- Without scholarship application: applications may be submitted outside the scholarship application period by contacting the Graduate Office at alunospgif@usp.br.
Publication of the scholarship ranking list for the 1st semester of 2026: 02/07/2026.
Enrollments of new master and Ph.D students: 01/07/2026 até 07/08/2026. Refer to the Graduate Student Survival Guide (Portuguese only).
Enrollments of special students : from 01/07/2026 até 10/07/2026.
Deadlines for IFUSP master's students aiming to secure their place for a scholarship:
- Submission: to be defined.
- Defense: to be defined.
Deadline for submitting the Activity Report through the following online form (check if your name appears on the list posted on página inicial ): from 01/07/2026 a 05/07/2026
Mandatory re-enrollment ( Janus ) for the first semester of 2026 (regularly enrolled students): to be defined
Deadline for Master's students to deposit their thesis and defend them within 2026: 07/11/2025
Deadline for Ph.D students to deposit their dissertations and defend them within 2026: 31/10/2025
