AIP Scitation - Scitation is the re-launch of the Online Journal Publishing Service (OJPS).

ArXiv - E-print service in the area of Mathematical and Earth Sciences

Bio-Rad Informatics Division - Bio-Rad offers services through web KnowItAll it allows access to a collection of over 1.3 million spectra

CNEN / CIN - Portal of information and documents in the nuclear energy area.

Current Contents Connect - The web version of Current Contents® is the most updated information resource.

e-Print Network - Integrated network of scientific and technical information.

EnFis - This database was created to collect, classify and record the scientific production in the field of physics teaching in Brazil in recent decades.

ERIC - It is an online system for storaging academic journals in the education area, founded in 1995.

ETDE Energy  - Over 4,361,000 bibliographic records and more than 352,000 full text documents.

FisBit - FISBIT is a program designed to retrieve information from its physics and related fields database. This database records non-educational publications so as to disseminate information to non-expert people.

GEDweb ABNT - Database about Brazilian technical normalization.

IEEE - IEEE Xplore contains a comprehensive collection of full text documents, providing access to the most highly cited journals in electrical engineering, computer science, and electronics.  Access it here and see the CAPES tutorial .

International Tables for Crystallography - Its 8 volumes feature articles and tables of data on the research and application of crystallographic methods in all the areas related to the structure and properties of materials. Emphasis is given to symmetry, diffraction methods, techniques of crystal structure and chemical and physical properties of crystals. Its contents are of high value for education, it also has theoretical discussions, practical explanations and examples.

JCR - Journal Citation Reports - Journal Citation Reports® offers a systematic, objective means to critically evaluate the world leading journals, with quantifiable, statistical information based on citation data. By compiling articles cited references, JCR Web helps to measure research influence and its impact, at the journal and category levels, and shows the relationship between citing and cited journals. Available in Science and Social Sciences editions.

NASA ADS - Digital Library portal for researchers in Astronomy and Physics, operated by the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory (SAO) under a NASA grant. The ADS keeps three bibliographic databases containing over 8.3 million records

OSTI - The mission of the Office of Scientific and Technical Information (OSTI) is to advance science and sustain technological creativity by making R&D findings available and useful to the Department of Energy (DOE) researchers and to the general public.

SPIE - The SPIE Digital Library is the most extensive resource available on optics and photonics, providing unprecedented access to more than 275,000 technical papers from SPIE Journals and Conference Proceedings from 1990 to the present. More than 17,000 new research papers are added annually.

Web of Science - TUTORIAL  Database that allows searching for authors and their works published and / or cited in journals as references to other works.

Training on using Databases

There are a lager number of databases and the complexity of searching in each one. For this reason, the library offers training in order to present users these important research tools. To schedule training, please send an email informing day and time of interest.
