Graduated in Physics from the University of São Paulo (1973), holds a master's degree in Physical Oceanography from the University of São Paulo (1978), and a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of São Paulo (1981). Senior Professor at the University of São Paulo. Full Member of the Academy of Sciences of the State of São Paulo - ACIESP (2015). Experienced in the field of Theoretical Physics of Condensed Matter, primarily focusing on the following topics: computational physics and physical chemistry, electronic structure, semiconductors, conjugated organic polymers, and semiconductor and hybrid organic/inorganic nanostructures.
