Abstract:
Aside from Set Theory, everyone who aims to work with Mathematics and Theoretical Physics (and, in particular, Mathematical Physics) must at some point learn about Metric Spaces and Topological Spaces, specially due to the use of convergence (like in infinite series) and continuity in abstract spaces. This lecture is aimed for those who already have at least some familiarity with Set Theory, and would like to have a look at the kind of mathematics used in modern theoretical physics and maths.
