New efficient technologies for residential/commercial space conditioning and water heating
. opportunities for small scala CHP (for residential and commercial uses)
. small scale gas-fired air conditioning
. gas fired heat pumps for smaller users
. high efficiency and low emission tank and tankless water heating
. understanding what is real in flameless water heaters with new materials

Paul Glanville - GTI R&D Manager - Building Energy Systems
He participates in GTI’s R&D developments for residential space conditioning and water heating, with a focus on traditional and next-generation heat pump solutions for HVAC systems; water heaters - advanced tank and tankless products as well as heat pump and solar thermal systems - ; and cooking equipment. He worked in the evaluations of tankless water heaters carried out at GTI laboratories for the California Energy Commission Residential Water Heating Program.
