Resumo:
O objetivo principal deste seminário é discutir o estado da arte em tecnologia de armazenamento de energia no mundo, com a participação de pesquisadores, reguladores e empreendedores do América Latina, EUA e Europa, bem como explorar o potencial de contribuição e benefícios do armazenamento para o Sistema Interligado Nacionais (SIN). Serão debatidos aspectos técnicos, econômico, regulatórios e estratégias para a utilização do armazenamento como acelerador da inserção de energias renováveis modernas no Brasil. Em termos tecnológicos, as estratégias de armazenamento que serão foco do seminário serão principalmente eletroquímica e com base em hidrogênio.

ENERGY STORAGE SEMINAR - STATE OF THE ART OF ENERGY STORAGE AND INSERTION OF INTERMITTENT RENEWABLE SOURCES
The main objective of the Seminar is to discuss the state of the art in energy storage technology in the world, with researchers, regulators and entrepreneurs from Latin America, USA and Europe, as well as to explore the potential contribution and benefits of storage for the National Interconnected System (Sistema Interligado Nacional - SIN). Technical, economic, regulatory and strategies for the use of storage as an accelerator of the insertion of modern renewable energies in Brazil will be discussed. With regard to the technological dimension, the storage strategies that will be the focus of the Seminar will be mainly electrochemical and those based on hydrogen.
