O International Symposium and Workshop on Astrochemistry (ISWA) será realizado de 3 a 8 de julho de 2016 em Campinas.
O evento terá simpósio e dois workshops, um sobre astroquímica experimental e outro com foco em observações. Os workshops terão atividades relacionadas a projetos conduzidos no Laboratório Nacional de Luz Síncrotron (LNLS) e nos observatórios Large Latin American Millimeter Array (LLAMA) e Atacama Large Millimeter Array (ALMA).
“The Molecular Universe”, por Alexander Tielens (Universiteit Leiden, Holanda), “Complex Organic Molecules in Star Forming Regions”, por Cecilia Ceccarelli (Institut de Planetologie et d'Astrophysique de Grenoble, França), “Sugars and Sugar Derivatives in Residues Produced from the UV Irradiation of Astrophysical Ice Analogs”, por Michel Nuevo (Nasa), The LLAMA project of a 12m radiotelescope in Argentina and the USP-NOVA and other collaborations”, por Jacques Lepine (USP), e “Astrochemistry in the Laboratory with the COSmIC Facility: Interstellar and Planetary Applications”, por Farid Salama (Nasa Ames), serão algumas das conferências.
O evento, que também terá 39 palestras e 28 sessões de pôsteres, ocorrerá no Solar das Andorinhas Hotel Fazenda.
