Abstract:
In this talk we intend to do a discussion about the condensation theory of J. E. Mayer of the derivation of an equation of state which would explain the singularity of the pressure at the condensation point, in equilibrium statistical mechanics. As long as possible we will point it out similar ideas between Mayer's theory and well known others phase transitions phenomenon in equilibrium statistical mechanics.
