The Taylor Hobson profilometer (model Form Talysurf 50) is located in the cleanroom. It is mostly used to measure the thickness of photoresist layer, as well as the rate and depth of chemical corrosion, on the fabricated devices. This unit is able to perform 1D scans of lenghts from 0.1 to 50 mm, with a vertical freedom of 1 mm.
