The Subaru Measurements of Images and Redshifts (SuMIRe) is the project building a new prime-focus  instruments for the 8.2m Subaru Telescope, the Hyper Suprime-Cam (HSC) imaging camera and the  massively-multiplexed fiber-fed Prime Focus Spectrograph (PFS). These instruments offer unique  opportunities in survey astronomy and cosmology. In particular, the PFS project is based on the  international collaboration including our Brazilian collaborators. I will introduce this exciting project and  the prospects for precision cosmology, especially focused on dark energy science.
