Our research centers on observational cosmology, with a focus on the formation and evolution of large-scale structure, nonlinear cosmic dynamics, and the deep connections between fundamental physics —such as inflation and modifications of general relativity — and precision cosmological data. We develop advanced analytical frameworks and work with state-of-the-art numerical simulations to model galaxy and halo bias and their relationship with the cosmic web, as well as the influence of dark matter and dark energy on the growth of cosmic structure. The impact of gravitational wave observations in cosmology is also an active field of research in our group. Our work integrates modern statistical and computational methodologies, including machine learning and other artificial-intelligence techniques, to maximize the scientific return from current and next-generation cosmological surveys.
