FAPESP, CNPq and Capes launch call to retain early-career researchers in São Paulo
FAPESP, in partnership with the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq) and the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (Capes), is promoting the FICA-SP Call – Retention and Incentive for the Academic Career in São Paulo. The goal is to attract and retain qualified researchers at universities and research institutes in the State of São Paulo, funding up to one hundred projects based on innovative, high-impact ideas capable of fostering the consolidation of independent scientific careers at São Paulo institutions.
The initiative is part of PROFIX-CB – CNPq's Program to Support the Retention of PhD Holders in Brazil, which includes the possibility of participation by other State Research Support Foundations (FAPs).
