Osmar Machado de souza

He holds a bachelor's degree in Physics from the Federal University of Southern and Southeastern Pará (2009-2013), and a master's and PhD in Physics from the Federal University of Sergipe (2014-2020). He completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Institute of Physics of the University of São Paulo (IFUSP) (2021-2022). He also completed a postdoctoral fellowship in the Graduate Program in Physics at the Federal University of Pará (PPGF-UFPA) (2023-2024). He has experience in the areas of Condensed Matter Physics and Computational Physics, with an emphasis on electronic structure calculation methods based on Density Functional Theory (DFT). His work focuses mainly on calculations of structural, electronic, electrochemical, thermodynamic, optical, magnetic, and spectroscopic properties of materials. He is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Physics of the University of São Paulo (IFUSP).
