Informação aos candidatos à pós-graduação sobre o EUF 2-2020
Caros alunos e alunas,
O EUF realizado no dia 16/11/2020 sofreu problemas técnicos que dificultaram o acesso dos candidatos à prova. Esses problemas persistiram das 10:00 até as 13:30, aproximadamente, e, nesse período, o sistema apresentou várias instabilidades. Às 14h, o sistema já havia sido estabilizado, mas, como reparação ao tempo perdido pelos candidatos até aquele momento, os tempos para realização do exame foram zerados e o horário para completar a prova foi estendido.
Porém, ficou claro que, mesmo com essas medidas paliativas, alguns candidatos foram irremediavelmente prejudicados. Por essa razão, uma nova prova será oferecida, em 20/12, àqueles alunos que desejarem refazer o exame. Acesse a para saber mais: Plataforma EUF.
Gostaríamos de lembrar que esses exames online foram realizados em caráter excepcional, e todos os programas de pós-graduação estão cientes das limitações desse formato. Queremos, também, tranquilizar os candidatos no sentido de que o Instituto de Física da USP tem plena ciência dos problemas que ocorreram e dos potenciais danos aos candidatos. Reforçamos que estamos acompanhando com grande atenção o desenrolar da situação relacionada ao EUF 2-2020 e garantimos nossa intenção de minimizar os danos eventualmente acometidos aos candidatos no nosso processo de seleção.

Information to the candidates for the IF graduate program about the EUF 2-2020
Dear students,
The EUF 2-2020, which took place on November 16th, 2020, suffered from technical issues which hampered the access to the online exam. These problems started at 10:00 (Brazilian time), and persisted until approximately 13:30. At 14:00 the system was already stabilized, however, in order to compensate the candidates for the time that was wasted by the candidates during that period, the clock was reset and the duration of the exam was extended.
Nevertheless, it became clear to the EUF team that, even with these corrective measures, some candidates suffered as a result of these instabilities. For that reason, another opportunity will be offered, on December 20th, for those candidates which would like to retake the exam. We would like to point out that these online exams were offered in an exceptional situation, and all brazilian graduate programs are aware of the limitations inherent to this format. We would also like to put the candidates at ease, in the sense that the Physics Institute Graduate School is fully aware of the problems that occurred and their potential damage to the candidates. We also stress that we are following up with great attention this issue, and affirm our commitment to minimize any damages that may have been suffered by the candidates in our selection process.
