New Department Heads at DFMT

New Department Heads for the Department of Materials Physics and Mechanics (DFMT/IFUSP)

São Paulo, April 9, 2026

On behalf of the current Department Heads, we inform that, in the election held on April 6, 2026, the following were elected:

• Prof. Daniel Reinaldo Cornejo as Head;
• Prof. Dr. Gustavo Martini Dalpian as Deputy Head.

The next term will last two years, from April 20, 2026 to April 19, 2028.

We congratulate the elected officials and wish them success in managing DFMT.
