Eric has a degree (2004) and a PhD (2010) in Physics from the Universidade Estadua de Campinas, Campinas, Brazil. Between October/2010 and December/2013, he was a postdoctoral fellow at the Technische Universität Dresden (TU Dresden). Between February/2014 and January/2016, Eric developed a FAPESP Young Investigator project at the Instituto de Física Teórica, São Paulo, Brazil. Between 2016 and 2022, he was a faculty member at the Instituto de Física de São Carlos at the Universidade de São Paulo in São Carlos, Brazil. Eric is currently an associate professor at the Instituto de Física at the Universidade de São Paulo in São Paulo, Brazil. He has experience in Condensed Matter Physics, particularly in the fields of Strongly Correlated Electronic Systems, Heterogeneous Systems, and Frustrated Magnetism.
