Graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the Federal University of São Carlos (1985), holds a master's degree in Physics from the University of São Paulo (1987), and a Ph.D. in Physics from Université de Grenoble I (Scientifique Et Medicale - Joseph Fourier) (1991). Currently, he holds an MS5 position at the University of São Paulo. He has experience in the field of Condensed Matter Physics, with an emphasis on Semiconductor Physics, focusing mainly on the following topics: optical and transport properties, diluted magnetic semiconductors, nitrides, semiconductor heterostructures, strong magnetic fields, and low temperatures.
