He holds a degree in Physics from Novosibirsk State University (1981) and a Ph.D. in Physics from Novosibirsk State University (1987). He is currently a Full Professor at the University of São Paulo. He has experience in the field of Physics, with an emphasis on Condensed Matter Physics, focusing primarily on the following topics: two-dimensional electron gas, transport properties, Mesoscopic System, and Nanotechnology.
