Thesis Title:

“Formation and Stability of Complex Magnetic Nanostructures via First-Principles Approaches and Spin Dynamics”

Abstract:

In this work, we investigate the role of the Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya Interaction (DMI) and interfacial atomic interdiffusion in the formation, stabilization, and dynamics of complex magnetic nanostructures in metallic thin films. An innovative methodology was employed, combining electronic structure calculations based on first principles with atomistic spin dynamics simulations. The results indicate favorable conditions for the existence of chiral magnetic nanostructures in metallic multilayer systems, significantly contributing to the understanding of complex magnetic properties and their potential technological applications.
